1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using BotWash ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

BotWash provides text transformation services using community-created formulas and 100+ operations. The Service allows users to transform AI-generated text, create and share formulas, and access text processing operations.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon the rights of others
  • Transmit harmful, offensive, or objectionable content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

5. Content and Intellectual Property

User Content

You retain ownership of any text you submit to the Service. By using the Service, you grant Grayforge Labs a license to process your content to provide the Service.

Formulas

Public formulas you create are shared with the BotWash community under the terms you specify. Private formulas remain private to you and your organization (if applicable).

Service Content

The Service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Grayforge Labs and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6. Subscription and Billing

BotWash offers Free, Pro, and Team subscription tiers. By subscribing to a paid plan:

  • You agree to pay all fees associated with your selected plan
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice

7. API Usage

API access is available to Pro and Team subscribers. API usage is subject to:

  • Fair use policies and any published rate limits
  • Authentication requirements using API keys
  • Compliance with all terms of service
  • Prohibition of reselling or redistributing API access

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and process data as described in that policy.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. GRAYFORGE LABS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

GRAYFORGE LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the new Terms and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Grayforge Labs operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
